2015: A Year of Possibility

By now, you have hopefully had a moment to celebrate and consecrate your life in 2014 as I challenged you to do in my last blog.

If you haven't done this yet, please do! You have just a few days left before the year is gone completely.

With 2014 gently tucked away, it's then time to turn your attention to 2015!

This new year gives us 8760 hours, or, as I prefer to think about it, 42 million heartbeats. That is our precious gift to spend as we see fit. These may seem like big numbers, but take a minute to feel your pulse... one... two... three. They fall away so quickly.

What will you be spending that precious time on? What do you want to create in 2015?

Here is a guide to get you started. Seven questions, just like in my last blog. Take 10 minutes to ask yourself:

  1. What are the three aspects of my life where I want to make real progress this year? My career? My marriage? My body? My community? My relationship with my family?

  2. What does "real progress" mean?

  3. What is one relationship I would like to improve... and what would I like it to look like?

  4. What is one quality that I would like to cultivate in myself this year?

  5. What is one quality about myself that I would like to appreciate more this year?

  6. What new habit will I make a part of my life this year?

  7. What challenges will I likely face in taking on items 1-6, and what is my strategy to overcome them?

These seven questions are the best way I know to set yourself for a strong 2015. Give yourself the New Years gift of really thinking through what you will create with it.

If you would like to take your creation a step further, come join my complementary teleseminar, Full Throttle into 2015, on January 12th. We will build a plan to help you make your 2015 vision a reality this year. Register here.

Happy New Year! Let's make it the best one yet.
